Change of pet's ownership
Whenever a companion animal is ceded or donated, it is necessary to communicate this change to SIAC
Whatever the reason for an animal's transfer (adoption, cession, sale, death of the owner, etc.), it is mandatory to communicate this transfer of ownership to SIAC.
The transfer of ownership is a duty of the owner registered with SIAC and must be communicated within 15 days.
How to change the pet's ownership?
Options:
Download the ownership transfer document, fill it out, and sign it.
Scan the completed transmission document and the identification documents of both parties (current and new owners).
Click the "Perform ownership transfer" button to start the process and submit the request.

The transfer of ownership can be carried out through SIAC TITULARES by using a digital mobile key or a citizen card reader. To perform the transfer this way, it is not necessary to attach any type of documentation; it is only required that both owners (current and new) access SIAC TITULARES , that the current owner transfers the animal to the new owner, and that the latter accepts the animal's transfer.
